PCMF for boat washing systems
Our pile cloth media filters are also in demand in SWISS ELEMENTIC boat washes. The pesticide-laden debris from the boat hull is collected in the basin and the dirty water is cleaned by a Mecana pressure drum filter (MDF). Thanks to regular hull cleaning of the boats, anti-fouling paints and fuel can be reduced. In the process, the MDF makes a major contribution to environmental protection.

PCMF meets Powdered Activated Carbon
The world's largest pile cloth media filtration system with powdered activated carbon application is being built at the wastewater treatment plant in Dortmund Deusen. The first filter machine has been pre-assembled. We are looking forward to the next 23 PCMFs, in order to remove the powdered activated carbon together with micropollutants from the biological treated effluent in the future.

Start-up of our MiniPolstoffLab
Two filter units with real-time monitoring for the continuous further development of our engineered OptiFiber® pile cloth media and pile cloth media technology have been in operation at our new ARA test site since the beginning of February. Together with our American colleagues from Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. we operate the largest research and development center for pile cloth media technology. We are looking forward to great tests and future development work in the MiniPolstoffLab!
