Filter Cleaning System
The OptiFiber® pile cloth media is cleaned by the filter cleaning system, consisting of (pivoting) suction beam and (profiled) suction lip. During the cleaning process, the system automatically pulls itself towards the pile layer. The pile layer is fluidised by the backwash resulting in an efficient removal of the solids embedded in filter media. The pivoting suction beam enables on-demand cleaning and prevents emissions from the filter surface that are not being cleaned. Filter cleaning is triggered automatically by time, water level or differential pressure. Filtration is not interrupted during cleaning.
OptiComb®
Customized OptiComb® is used as a suction lip. The profiled suction lip is used to increase the solids surface loading, especially for solids that tend to have an increased surface filtration effect (e.g. flocculants). By profiling the pile layer, which can be modified during fluidization, an increase in the effective filtration area is achieved. The OptiComb® suction lip results in higher solids loading and thus lower backwash water as well as energy demand. Existing PCMF systems can be upgraded to OptiComb® to increase loading capacity and reduce energy demand.
OptiClick® - Get your PCMF ready for the future
OptiClick® offers a simple and demand-oriented retrofit of the suction lip. In the case of new developments of pile cloth media, the suction lip and filter media are still compatible and can also be retrofitted into existing PCMF systems without any problem. This gets your system ready for the future.
