Filter Segment
MEC Core
The core component of the Mecana disc filter. The new filter segment from Mecana consists of a pile cloth media frame, a filter element with pile cloth media, a segment grid, a segment frame and click connectors. The pile cloth media is fixed onto the frame and forms the filter element, which is clicked onto the segment grid. Two segment grids are then inserted into the segment frame using click connectors. The segment is entirely made of plastic, suitable for drinking water, resistant to chemicals and chlorides, and can be equipped with all pile cloth media of the OptiFiber® family.
